Want to help shop for a wedding dress?

I spent the day out dress shopping with a friend. We have a very good idea of what she is looking for but can't find the exact thing. She definitely wants a strapless trumpet style. She wants beading, preferably a belt - this can be anywhere where natural waist down to hips. It would be nice for the top/bust area to have beading or pleating/rouching. No lace. Here are the two styles she is torn between: Different I know... the first one she like the beading, but needs some rouching or something on the top. The bottom she loves the back but the front is rather plain.

Does she have a budget? Because the Kenneth Pool line does a lot of dresses that sound like they would work, but they're pretty pricey.

Thanks for the ideas girls. Oh yeah the budget..... under $1000. I think she would really prefer to be around $700 or under.

If she likes the alexia, there are a couple bridesmaids dresses they make that come in ivory/white that might work.

I am partial to this one, which has vertical rouching, lace and a thin belt at the natural waist, and a soft trumpet silouhette. If she likes a more dramatic trumpet, it might not be exactly right:

Just quickly looking at prices, the Ava is available in the under $700 range and is pretty detailed, so I'd expect the others to be similar.

Has she thought about having it custom made? There are some incredible designers on Etsy, and it's usually around $700!

Cate - That is a very good idea.....however I have a feeling she wouldn't go for it as she is fairly particular. If the person was in our area and she could meet them in person there could maybe be chance.

My vote is for the 2nd dress.. the one that is a little plain in the front but has a great back.
