Hi Ladies! Sorry I've been MIA, but I'm in Pittsburgh for a few days and have limited internet access. Anyway today was the day of my dress fitting. Some of you may remember be telling you my dress didn't fit even after all the weight I lost. Well I thought it would be possible to do a corset back to help give me the extra room I needed. It would have worked, except the corset back was not going to help with my hips! So there's NOTHING that can be done to make my dress fit in time for the wedding! The ladies at DB were wonderful though. They checked ALL stores to see if any of them in the US had my dress that they could ship to me, but they didnt. It would take 20 weeks for me to get a dress that fit!!! HOWEVER they did let me pick out another dress, but it had to be one that was in their store and exchange my dress. THANK GOD! I found a dress that I love. It was actually my second choice for a dress when I went dress shopping before. My mom isn't in love with it, but I have a dress that fits and it doesn't need altered AT ALL! So we will save money there. Here's the real silver lining though. We thought the dress was $649, BUT it was marked down to $99! So we have a HUGE credit for DB now! We used some of it on my sisters homecoming dress. The rest we will probably use toward my sisters wedding next year. OMG! I just checked and the dress is still $399 online. Here's the link:
