I did!!!! If you look at the last post down you can see our pictures from our wedding there 2 weeks ago. I haven't done my vendor reviews yet but I really can't say enough wonderful things about them!!! Sheila and Bethany are amazing and we had the best wedding as a result of it. The facility was beautiful, the stafff was the most professional and friendliest that I've ever dealt with, the food was great. I would recommend it without a second thought. I seriously could go on forever. If you have any other questions please feel free to email me at: acapalbo@hotmail.com

I am having my wedding there next August. Sheila is wonderful. She is incredibly professional, patient, and helpful.

UC, are you getting married on-site or at another venue?  We are in love with the place and will be having our reception there, but we're not thrilled with the ceremony options available to us since we're having our wedding in December.

We chose to get married there on the deck....weather permitting. I have to agree that the inside ceremony layout is less than spectacular. Sheila may be able to help you brainstorm on places in the area where you could hold the ceremony. Maybe the casino itself has a better option??

Thanks for the info, UC.  Are you going to block rooms at Foxwoods?  Did they provide a discount?

Hey all, just an FYI, the casino strongly discourages (they may even not allow) wedding ceremonies for non-tribal members within reservation grounds.  Reason being, it's considered a soverign nation and the marriage won't be legally recognized.  Lake of Isles is tribally owned, but it's not reservation land, so that's why ceremonies are welcomed there. Also, I'm so glad this topic came up as I was just looking at their website today.  If you don't mind me asking, what's their average price per person? (Non-winter)  It looks gorg but I'm worried it's a little out of my range.

KC....We did block rooms. They allow a maximum of 50 rooms. It comes out to be about 10 rooms per hotel. They do give a discounted rate on the rooms. This is especially true as you get closer to the wedding date. Depending upon events that are taking place at the hotel, rooms can either book up or be much more expensive as the date gets closer. Jenny...I believe Sheila has reposted the prices on the website. They recently dropped their prices. I believe the lowest package is 99/pp, but includes a lot.

We just emailed Foxwoods to see about the discount and if it's in our budget. The non-winter price for the Emerald Package, which includes quite a lot is 119.95.  We got 20% off of that by going with winter.  The ceremony is anywhere from $850-$2500.  It's a beautiful place and Sheila seems to be on top of her game.

I'm not sure of the 2009 or 2010 prices, we booked in 2008 but paid $119 plus tax plus tip for the middle package. It pretty much included everything. If you email Sheila she will send you the new prices quickly. Its not cheap but after going through it, worth every penny! I also think that the winter rates are pretty great. Also, just a word to the wise on the room block, watch the room prices, we were originally given a discounted rate but at certain points the regular internet rate would be less than our group rate, every time it dropped we would email or call our room block person and get it dropped, our original MGM saturday night rate ended up being about $90 more than what our guests actually paid.
