  Other boards are sometimey. If you mention a top tier vendor they are all over it cuz it means you may have money and can hang with "them". If you share something general they criticize it.  I am so thru with the "other" board.

  I totally agree with you Cicy.  I have been on other boards and they are not very supportive at all.  It's nice that a group of sisters can show support to one another even though any many ways this moment is such a stressful (yet wonderful) time for all of us.

  Thx.  There is always one or two of them on there that have already said i-do that for some reason feel better about themselves by staying on the board and tearing others down or criticizing them. Really I found it on Real Simple Weddings website and thought someone else could benefit from it.  That simple.  She took it and blew it all up.

  LOL! Great picture. We need to try and all meet up. The NC State Fair is coming and it would be a great place to meet up, hang out, eat junk food and have some fun!Cicy

  I love this board too. I am the odd ball out, because my local board sofla board, they are soooo supportive on WR and NWR issues, its just good to see women from different walks of life converge:)

  yeah I totally understand what you ladies are saying...I go to my local board and "lurk" to get recs of local vendors because whenever I've posted in the past either (1) I get no responses due to I don't post on it enough in their opinion or (2) the responses are very cold...to me, my local board comes off as "click-ish"...so I mainly come here cuz I appreciate everyone on this board and feel everyone has an opinion/info to provide that's beneficial in someway or another...

  My local board is so inactive and they all have cookie cutter weddings. I'm the odd one because I wanted to do mine different and was derided for my ideas.
