i posted a couple of days ago and ended up going dress shopping with all three of my bridesmaids on friday. bought my gown that day and then my maid of honor and best friend since kindergarten stayed the night since she was OOT. FI was at work so she and I watched both of my favs - Bride Wars and The Wedding Date. And we cried and reminisced about our 30+ years as friends and had too much to drink. Hung over like crazy on Sat, I couldn't do anything but lay around - so FI rented "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and it is now on my top 5 list! Will def buy it when it is released on DVD/Blu Ray!

My fav is wedding crashers. Firstly because it's hysterical. But also I love seeing the beautiful weddings...especially at the fancy one in the beginning when the men met their future wives. Oh if money were no object...

Father of the Bride. Hands down this is my favorite. I am actually basing a lot of the decor of my wedding from their decor in their tent. I have loved that movie for a long time, and now I can finally have my wedding!

OK - This is why I love this thread! How could I have forgotten to list "The Other Sister"? Ladies, if you have not already seen it, it is a MUST before you get married!!! I would have to say, now that I think about it, that one is my altime favorite - even with the pretty stiff competition out there :-) And also - "Never Been Kissed" - thanks for that one, too! It's amazing how many great movies are love related. On that note, I'd also have to add: French Kiss, Sleepless in Seattle and "The Shop Around the Corner" (with Judy Garland and Van Johnson), oooh! And also " Meet Me in St. Louis!".... How will I ever narrow it down to just 2 or 3 movies? A poll??
