Do I dare even ask if "Meatbox" was a girl or a boy?!

LOL, I remember people in high school screwing with the teachers like that!  I don't understand the Mom making people call him Gregory if he wants to be called Greg.  MIL calls DH "David" even though everyone else calls him Dave, but she doesn't go around telling others they need to call him by his formal name.KR, I'm excited for the Office too...after the one promo Dh asked me if I was going to cry?  Haha...no.

Kwynn - I agree about not naming your kids something that you don't like the shorten version of! My aunt named her 2 boys Nicholas and Zachary. She was furious when someone would call them Nick or Zach. They are now 11 and 13 and want to be called Nick and Zach, and she still hates it.My DH is Nicholas. His family calls him Nicholas and I can tell they wish I did, but to me and everyone else he is Nick! I'm Jennifer professionally, but Jen to everyone else.

Meatbox is great! Fi's brotehr is a teacher in anotehr state and he had a girl in his class and her name as Mandong. Pronounced just like you see it. I nearly cried when he told me the ppor little girl. Her parents while not so nice on giving her that name were kind enough to give her the nicname Anne.

LOL, Jamie!  I'm a hormonal mess, but I have been tearing up when Jim is speaking on the promos and says - I was waiting for my wife.  DH said something very similar to me when he proposed, so it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.  :P

Aww, KR that's sweet that it's similar to your proposal.  I told him I didn't cry at our wedding so I wouldn't at the wedding of 2 TV characters ;-)  I saw another promo for this episode late Saturday night that I haven't seen on Prime Time, so I think there might be some sort of twist to the whole office showing up.

As a school teacher I can safely say I've had at least 2 Luke's whose given names were Luke.  In the case of Jake, all of my Jake's have been Jacob, but that doesn't mean Jake can't stand alone!
