HUGE disappointment with VistaPrint!!!

OMG ladies….I ordered by STDs from VistaPrint because it looked like everyone here on theknot boards got good results using them. I got them in the mail yesterday and opened them this morning. First, let me say I paid $4.99 to upload my design and $4.99 to have color on the back…plus S&H on their “free” post cards. I am VERY disappointed and upset with my order. ALL of the postcards are not cut correctly. You can see the "lines" where the post card was the be cut along on the backside and they are all cut differently and UNEVENLY. You can see pink on one side of the outline on the front and not on any other side..they just look terrible and amateurish. I’m so pissed right now. I never thought they would look so bad. I emailed their customer service because the 800 number said they were unavailable due to technical difficulties!?!?!?! (WTF?) Please, please, please someone tell me you have had good results dealing with their customer service…

  • Hey Tamara! That really sucks about your STD's. I've never had any problems with VP. Hopefully they will re-do your order for you, I don't see why they wouldn't. Even though most of their stuff is "free" or cheaper, it's still a business and you're still a customer. Let us know what happens.
  • I did have a similar experience with a business cards order, but I figured there were 250 of them so why fight it...  I would definitely call them back and tell them to reprint them!  Good luck!

  • Thanks Manda, I'll keep you all updated. At this point, I really just want them re-printed correctly. I don't want to drop another $30 or more ordering from somewhere else. I really don't have room in the budget for "do-overs".
  • VP's customer service is great. I'm sure they will reprint them for no extra charge. I know other knotties who had some issues and they were fixed promptly.  So I wouldn't stress.
  • I was just passing through and saw this.  Sorry you had bad luck with VP.  I never had any issues with wedding or business items but then again I've never uploaded any of my own stuff.  I did, a few months ago, have an issue with one of their discounted prices not going through.  I emailed them and got a response pretty quickly and on a Sunday no less...they fixed the issue for me no questions asked.
  • I've never had a problem, but I know girls who have just called and the problem was fixed. Definately call.
  • Good news...they will re-do them! YAY! I didn't even have to put up a arguement. Thank goodness. :-)
  • Hey there! We went through VP for Save the Dates for our DW and our AHWC. The first set were perfect, but I had a huge problem with the second set of magnets. The ink was smeared and there was white spots on most of them. Anyhow, I called and they shipped out a new set the next day. They were apologetic and everything turned out fine. Good luck!!
  • Clearly posted my response before reading all of the way to the bottom.....I'm happy they are redoing them!!!
