Wedding Woes

House *spoilers*

Who watched? When he drugged the neighbor, I thought House was seriously getting himself into trouble. And the whole thing with Chase fabricating the test results? Ack. Do you think his wife knows?

Re: House *spoilers*

  • I don't think she knows, and I don't think she'll ever know. But really, their oath starts with "First, do no harm." Doesn't that extend to the world as a whole? Is it not doing harm to let a brutal genocidal dictator live? I think Chase - and later, Foreman - made the right decisions. I think Cameron wimped out.I also think Foreman did the right thing by firing 13. Why should he give up the opportunity he's wanted from the start of the series just to make her feel better? I don't think they're a good match, though, so I suppose that colors things - though I think a good match for him would recognise why he wouldn't want to give up the job or the relationship, and work with him better. I've never liked 13, either, so I suppose I'm just hoping she'll be gone.

  • 13 is just getting whiny. Foreman's done a lot for her whether she knows it or not, and it was a good move.Cameron did b!tch out, but she always has. She can't be a leader and she won't ever will be. Same with Chase. I was actually pretty surprised Chase did what he did.
  • I can't get behind firing someone because of your relationship.I just can't.you turn down the job, you change departments...you don't FIRE someone because of your relationship--it's just plain unprofessional and discriminatory. That being said, I also can't jump on the Chase bandwagon...sure, the guy was a horrid person who is dead...congrats, you've just created a power vacuum. That's not to say that it might not be a good ting...but killing off the devil you know is NOT necessary 'doing no harm' to the world at large--I don't trust my average doctor who has just read a few nespwapers to know the ins and outs on whether the world is better off w/ the guy alive or dead. And manipulating his wife into making the decision so she's dealing w/ the guilt to cheapens it.
