About the Carriage House

Hello ladies,I post on here once in awhile and I was thinking about have my wedding at the carriage house if any of you could tell me if you had your wedding there or somebody you know and if you like it and what you thought about everything.Thank youJennifer

    I attended a wedding there last Sept. Its a very nice venue and the food and service were well executed. A word of warning though is that the main ballroom though beautiful has terrible acoustics--you can't understand anything a djs says even when speaking into a microphone. It causes problems for announancements, speeches, anniversy dances, anything that needs to be announced. The DJs words are not audiable. I thought about booking there myself but the dj I was in love with warned me about it and when I went to this wedding I realized he was absoultly correct. GL

    Had my wedding there last June.  Loved it!  It was an amazing day.  Denise, the manager, made sure everything was perfect.  Food was excellent.  Pictures on the site were gorgeous.  I couldn't have asked for more.
    U/S#1 showed 2 heartbeats! U/S#2 showed Baby A's heartbeat was 157 and Baby B 's heartbeat was 183! U/S#4 showed Baby A is a Boy (heartbeat 161) and Baby B is a Girl (heartbeat 159)!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

    We looked to have our wedding there, and it IS absolutely gorgeous. Ultimately we decided not to go there because the price was too high. plus there is a minimum of 150 guests in the main ballroom - that room being the whole point of using the Carriage House in the first place. :-)

    I went there for a wedding last year. It was a buffet style reception, and by the time my table got called to the buffet line which was out in the main foyer, and back to the table my food was already cold.  I  thought the room was to large.  I personally didn't care for the place.
