Dallas Police Officer?

FI and I are getting married next weekend.  This past Friday, the Dallas PD called him saying they're still doing his background check, but they basically want to hire him if things go as planned.  They call me today to let me know the same thing and to get my thoughts on it.We are in Nashville.  The academy starts Nov. 11th, meaning we'd have to have a place rented and moved in by then.If FI will be in the police academy, where would you recommend us living?  We want to rent a townhouse or house in a suburb of Dallas, most likely, we just don't know where.TIA :)

    Richardson, Addison...My friend is a Dallas PD and he lives in Mesquite.

    It depends on your budget. I can give you cool areas to live and you will have to do your research on the price range. Addison - the best place to live! Addison is "the place" to live right now. It has everything from shopping to great restraunts to entertainment. Addison circle is a cool area within Addison to get a place.Las Colinas - Technically it is "Irving" city limits, but everyone calls it Las Colinas. They even have their own 911 response team. It's Las Colinas/Valley Ranch area that is cool. You will recognize the "Valley Ranch" from the Dallas Cowboys. Though they are sucking right now, son't let that scare you off from this area!  LOL  The are is nice and well kept always.
