Seattle Wedding Venues Map (and Checks!)

Hi everybody, I posted this about 2 months ago, but I was new and didn't realize you could post links. We did all this work looking for ceremony & reception venues and it would be a shame to have it go to waste. So we made a Google Map with all the sites we at least found on the web:<a href="http://tinyurl.com/seattle-wedding-venues&quot;&gt;http://tinyurl.com/seattle-wedding-venues&lt;/a&gt;.Anyway as soon as the wedding coordinator at Saint Mark's responds we'll be set for next September at Saint Mark's and the Ranier DAR House on Capitol Hill. Checks! Woohoo!

    Wow, that is amazing. Jenn- this might be a cool addition to the seattle site! :0) COngrats on the soon-to-be checks! Seblagg is getting married at the DAR house this weekend!

    FYI, anyone can add reception/ceremony venues or make changes to the ones already there (if you know the seating capacity or price of a place).To make a new venue: Just search for a location by typing in the search bar (e.g. "Hyatt Regency Bellevue"), click on the little balloon for it, then click "save to my maps" in the popup. Then you can type in notes for seating, price, caterers, etc.To edit an existing venue: Click on the pushpin for the venue, either in the list or on the map. That will bring up the popup on the map. Go to the top of the sidebar with the list of venues and click the "edit" button. Then go back into the map and make your changes in popup.Be sure to hit "Save" when you're finished! Future brides & grooms will thank you :).

    Wow, that is insanely thorough (in a good way)! Thanks for sharing!  We've got a Knottie (Seblagg) getting married at DAR this Saturday, so if you want to see a review, I'd check back for what she will have to say, but yay for checks!
