This is true, Tide. It was the one where she expected her guests to contribute $60 per person in lieu of gifts because she was way over budget, but then didn't understand why nobody rsvp'd. And then she ripped her fbil a new one for telling her the truth that everyone thought they were tacky a-holes.

Oh I guess we're talking about the same issue, just different post. Her post was the one talking about how she went like 4k over budget. But that didn't include catering because she was charging $60pp.

Well, if I went then I would not give a gift which would mean she'd be out a potential $40. I always give a minimum of $100 cash at weddings. But after that, there'd be no gift... IF of course I decided to attend.

Anyone else catch this on her site? Because clearly, this is what BMs are for.. On the other hand my BMs look so stunningly beautiful in their dresses. I said to FH that I'm glad we have such a great looking bunch of girls at least our pics are going to look hot!!

Tide - the post was about how her fiance's TWIN brother totally reamed them out in an email about no one wanting to pay that kind of money. And then she moaned about when he got married his fiancee's parents gave them 20k for the wedding, so he got to have the wedding of his dreams, but no one was giving them money, so they had to pay for it themselves! Oh noes! And her original budget was 5,000 and she went over it by 7,000. How do you go OVER budget by that much?OH and it was only for 35 people.If I got a invitation like that, the couple would be lucky if I ever talked to them again. Or, if I went, I'd bring them a huge gift that cost $150, and not give them cash at all.
