I may be banned from the kitchen for awhile because I managed to cut a finger pretty badly making dinner.  Fortunately I was cutting veggies, not the chicken.  Now I have 3 stitches and limited use of my index finger.I was also the second Chinese food cooking accident that the ER PA had seen that week.Is it the weekend yet?

    Ick. Thats why I don't cook. Actually I dont cook because I don't know how, but I like my sharp object excuse better.

    H had just replaced our knives with his dream knives...color coded for maximum sanitation.  I was unaware of how sharp they are.Later today I may give an update on 'things that are made a total pain by not being able to properly use a finger.'  I'm discovering a few that surprised me.

    Ooo, nice.  I want to have color coded cutting boards.  But I already have like 3, so it seems silly to just keep adding.

    We have color coded boards as well (2 sets).  The ones I like best actually lay across the kitchen sink with an open hole allowing you to run water.However, the real reason I like the new knives is because I don't have to search around for the knife I need (which usually was just used and needs to be washed).  We now have knives galore!
