Painting our BR: Part 2

I mentioned a while back that I'd like to paint our BR in our apt. Our bedspread is this one:[img]http://www.sitv.com/files/premium-uploads/Picture%201(17).jpg[/img]What color(s) would you paint? Neither one of us care for yellow, and I feel like red would be too harsh. I'm guessing brown or tan would be our only options. Thoughts?

Or a light yellow light there is on that wall. Take a pillow shame to the hardware store and match it up, to anything but the main color. That is what I did

I'd like a beige or light brown, maybe 3 lighter walls with 1 darker accent wall where the headboard is, depending on the geometry of the room.That way, it's neutral enough that when you change your bedding, you might not have to repaint.

Please excuse my excitement... but OH MY GOSH Shannon I love that!!! Even though TJ "didn't care" about anything I knew we could decorate our entire apartment blue and he'd be happy. I prefer red. I "compromised" and did kitchen and bathroom blue and BR red. He'd love that blue!

A tan on 3 walls, then a deep turquoise color on our accent wall behind our bed. If you're thinking red would be too harsh on it's own (and I agree), take a look at these examples:[img]http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt204/steph13055/blues.jpg[/img][img]http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt204/steph13055/red-gray.jpg[\img]We are doing the top picture in our study, and the bottom one in the dining room. You could do a pattern and incorporate the red if you really like it, but at the same time make sure it's not too overwhelming.

I have the same bed spread.. I painted my room in a color called " crackerbits" its a beig color and it looks really good
