Parents Gifts

We are trying to come up with an idea about gifts to give our parents on a budget.  We talked about  a nice framed photo, but we just gave them that for Christmas last year.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Re: Parents Gifts

  • This question has come up recently on the Mothers of the Bride and Groom board. I was married (second time) 18 months ago, and we just had my daughter's wedding reception 9 days ago.  The only thing I wanted from her was for her to say "Everything was GREAT mom!  It was just what I wanted."  Instead what I got was "Everything was AWESOME mom!  It was BETTER than what I imagined!"  Which was music to my ears.  I don't need anything else, although a framed photo of them in all their wedding finery would be lovely, when her pictures come back from the photographer.   So, check out that board to see what other moms said.  Best wishes!

  • There is a nice tradition to give flowers to the mothers at the end of the aisle after your Dad walks you down. If you both had a lovely hand writen note along with a small bunch of flowers for each mom... I think they would love that more than if you sent a $1,000,000!
