Custom Made BM Dresses

Has anyone had a seamstress make all their BM dresses from a pattern? How much did they charge? I want my BM to wear a specific shade of green (olive, sage or moss green) that doesn't seem to be very popular among dress companies. I also don't want my BM to spend more than $200 on their dress. I'm open to any suggestions!

    For my brother's wedding I was a bridesmaid and we had our dresses made and it was -- I want to around 160, but the price also depends on the style.For my wedding I'm using the same seamstress for my bridesmaids and the dress has a lot of detail and is going to range from 160 to 180 depending on the size of the girl.Hope that helps! =]

    I think David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo have several green BM dresses--wrong shade?
