It's "Save the Tatas Day"

Walking home I saw a very good looking young man wearing a pink t shirt with "Save The Tatas" across the front.  The back said "Two Days We Walk As One".  Avon's walk for breast cancer was here today and the walk was right on my block.Male walkers were almost equal to female walkers.  I don't know why that surprised me.If I could walk properly, I would do the 39 miles also.  Hopefully next year I will be able to do it.

  • Thats great there were so many men!
  • We should have a knottie team. I would fly up for that

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • I'm doing the walk here in Little Rock next weekend.  I'm excited!

  • That's awesome! I have a Team Tatas Shirt. It seems like every time I wear it, I have to explain it though...you'd think the big pink ribbon would be all you'd need...
  • i was looking at the shirts a few years back to wear while walking in the relay for life and a co-worker of mine started telling me how disrespectful they were. he said his grandmother & mother had breast cancer and would find it offensive if i was wearing one. in the end i didn't buy one.
