    Roast chicken and homemade biscuits. He had the day off for Columbus Day, while I had to work both jobs. It's only fair that he has to cook tonight.

    Hi Shannon!  Yum, your dinner sounds awesome!  CA is good- had a great weekend with FI.  There is a decent likelihood that we'll be moving out this way next year, and this weekend was partly a get-FI-acquainted trip.  This will be a busy week for work, and we leave on our company retreat on Thursday- headed to the wilderness!

    The only new thing is that DH's house FINALLY sold yesterday! So exciting! Other than that I'm still super busy at work (the reason why I can never knot anymore) and I still teach most nights!

    Yeah, there are a whole bunch of us with new names. I didn't like my old screenname, and I figured that I should change it now, in case I ever want to use the nest.

    I've thought about changing mine due to my maiden name being so uncommon, but I've never gotten around to it. It looks like now is the time to do it! Haha!

    That's great that his house sold. My parent's are about to put the house that I grew up in on the market, and they are afraid that it will take about. This housing market sucks if you're selling.

    We live in a house that we rent from my dad, in Latrobe. But DH works in Mt. Lebo most of the time and I work in Greensburg. So we're going to try to find something halfway. We're going to see what I can get approved for by myself for the first time homebuyer thing they have going on right now!

    That's very exciting!  That first-time homebuyer credit is very appealing... it makes me wish our future location plans were a little more firm so we could take advantage.  Good luck with everything!

    Oh, yes, and I am so excited!  She has a lot of friends in Chicago and travels there often, so she's actually going to do our engagement shoot there when she's in town in early November!  We're very excited that it worked out like this- it's a nice way to tie in the city where we got engaged and where we live to our otherwise very "Pittsburgh" wedding :)
