It's good. I'm working for BFF's dad right now to help him get his home office re-organized and running. He has his own electrical company, but is so bogged down by paperwork and such that he can't see straight, let alone try to grow. I think this could turn into something FT, and I could ask him to pay me a decent salary to run the whole office while he's out in the field doing what he needs to be doing. And right now it's cool b/c I'm making my own hours. H works on this side of town, so 2 days a week, we carpool, and I work 10 hour days, and the rest of the week I'm working about 6ish hours. I'm still looking, but now I can afford to be more choosy and not just take a job b/c it's a job. So, I'm hopeful.

Thanks! Taw- when you were talking about your sitch the other day, it got me thinking that there is a lot to do here that I could likely do from home (sometimes). If the weather is bad or I'm sick, etc. That's a definite potential perk too. Have you heard any more on your being able to work from home?

Not yet. Oct 15 is a big deadline here so everyone is busy. They said it would be a couple weeks (last week) before they could move forward with planning for it. And I know there's a possibility it may not work, but I'm still excited about it!

I'm pissy. I need to run soon when my breakfast finishes rumbling around in my upset stomach. I'm using visual images of me kicking DH's shins repeatedly to make me feel better. It's not working, but I'm taking an evil pleasure in it anyway.

The remnants of Super Typhoon Melor rolled in last night. Watching last evening's news you'd think it was the storm of the century. All the news stations were covering at as THE FIRST FALL STORM ZOMG.It's very windy, very cold, and very wet. I would kill to be home right now in my pjs and on the couch reading or catching up on my DVR.
