And officially Mrs. Vogt :) Everything went amazingly. I only had one minor meltdown when I lost my earrings and bracelet, but fortunately my DOC and BM came through and it was quickly over. The day flew by and was a ton of fun. We've gotten so many compliments about everything. I can't believe it's over!     And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     Fishy wrote me an RD poem awhile back. Incorporated all kinds of info about our lives, and even wrote a verse about the college advice my grandma gave me (No one will buy the cow if you give away the milk for free), and how it's ironic that I'm marrying a cattle farmer. It was pure poetic genius :)

    The pig herp seems to be doing well, except for the lingering cough. The last of the stomach symptoms ended on the morning of the wedding after I coughed so hard I threw up (TMI, sorry). Fortunately, I seem to be recovering. Here's the poem: Mike & I don’t like to wait, as most of you can guess, It only took four months for me to say YES! So, of course you’ve been waiting, we've been waiting too, For the day to finally come when we say “I do.” We didn’t think we could love Elwood any more than we do, But this weekend it’s happened with the addition of YOU. We would really like to thank you for travelling this far, Whether by foot, by plane, by unicycle, or car. When I was a young girl and heading to college, My grandmother imparted on her all types of knowledge. She said, “Who’ll buy the cow if they can get the milk for free!” Oh if she only knew a cattle farmer’s wife I would be. But then a reality TV junkie fell for a Royals baseball fan, It was love at first sight and I knew he’d be my man. There was one more addition to make our family complete, We needed a little dog to come and lay by our feet! And here enters a creature, as cute as can be, An adorable little pug who we named Molly. Our family of three has had so much to do! Like Husker games, beer drinking, and weekend barbeque! Our journey has been amazing and beautiful this far, And when this business guy marries this girl in HR, We’ll continue to make memories our whole lives through But they wouldn’t mean as much if they didn’t include you. Your presence with us on this important day, Means more to us than words could ever say. So on this beautiful weekend where we say “I do,” We want you to know how much we love all of you, too

    So you WERE allergic to wedding!  Do you still want to plan mine?  I have Claritin!Also, I resent you for coming back NOW when I was just about to go to the gym.  If I don't work out today I blame you.  But, I'm glad you're back.  So I'm awfully confused.

    Vallyhoo - that's what I kept telling people I was going for with my decorations, like fall threw up (but in a classy way) :) I don't have any pictures of me and H close up, unfortunately. So far, I just have one person's pictures on our sharing site, and a few from facebook. I know my family took a lot of the ceremony, but I haven't gotten then yet. I do have a picture of H's cousin doing the worm on the dance floor, so we have the important stuff recorded :)

    I do still want to plan yours J! But, are you really thinking of 10/9 for your date?If so, I may have to plan up to the date and rely on pictures. I think we're planning a trip to TX for our first anniversary and to celebrate my favorite aunt and uncles 40th anniversary (same day as ours)
