Best way to ask guests to share wedding photos?

Which site is the best for our guests to use to upload/share photos of our wedding? Anyone have any instructions/wording for the program that they would like to share? Wow, my date is coming so soon... -TL 10*24*09

I used the free vista print business cards and made a photobucket account for everyone. I think I have the poem in my planning bio.

Ditto Jackie... I still have guests coming up to me to tell me that they still have the business card and that they need to upload the pics. If you give them a business card, it's easy to fit in their wallet. If you put it on the back of a welcome letter or Church program, chances are, they will not remember it was there and throw it out. Business cards are nice b/c they are easy to just throw in the wallet or purse. My directions (just follow the steps to make sure they are still accurate) 1. Go to www.kodakgallary.com 2. Enter Username “XXXXXX@XXXXX.com” 3. Enter Password “xxxxxxxxx” 4. Click on the Upload Photos Tab 5. Under "Create or Choose an Album" select add photos to existing album link. 6. Click on the "Our Wedding" album 7. Click on "Add Pictures" 8. Locate your saved photos you would like to share (to add multiple pics, hold down the control key while clicking on the photos) 9. Click "Add" 10. Click "Start Upload" 11. After this completes you will see a green box on the next screen that tells you how many of your photos have been uploaded to the album.

I used www.dotphoto.com and highly recommend it. Most share sites allow you (your guest) to upload at hight res, but when you go to copy them, they are a low res, which wont work well if your planning on using them to make a album or print. To share the info with our guests, I printed 8 per page on regular 8x11 card stock and then just cut them. I didnt really need instructions - the site was extremely easy to use, I printed: Did you take pictures? We would love to see them! Create an album at: User name: xxx Password: xxx Thank you for sharing our day! Tony & Steph If you do decide to start an account, I used the free option and it was great for what we needed... Glad I didnt upgrade.

I used the business cards also.  However, most people just uploaded the pics to Facebook, which worked fine for me too.  If you do get the cards, one really good idea is to save a bunch and send them out with your thank you cards, just to remind the guests to upload the pictures, because sometimes they put the card in their purse and forget all about it....
