Dear Knotties Wanting to Strenghten Ankles: In yoga class we do squats on our tippy toes in an effort to strengthen legs and ankles.  Can't say if it works but if sure feels like a challenge. Good luck,Yogi Who Felt Her Zen Last Night in ClassDear Mom,Thank you for suggesting coming with me to my next appointment with Becky.  I know you're super busy with your first semester as department chair, so thank you for saying you'll make the 2 hour drive each way just for this dress appointment.  It means a lot to me as I only have one BM who lives in Dallas who is super busy working full time and going to grad school part time, and I feel really bad asking her to take time out for wedding things.  I think I'll feel a lot better when I don't have to make the decision alone.Love,Indecisive Daughter Who Really Doesn't Want to be a Two Dress BrideDear Central Market,This pumpkin bread is the shiz-nick.  I'm going to get another loaf after work today. Thanks,Foodie in Love

Dear Knotties, For those of you (like me) who dislike the dreariness so far, the DMN has something on their weather blog about only have two days this month when it hasn't rained.  Blech.

Dear Sarah - I hate that! The job I'm in the interview process for is in Florida, and I just know I'll have to cut off all my hair if I get it, because I can't stand fixing it just to have the humidity mess it up!

Dear Sarah and Banana, I have straightened my hair since the day of my wedding back in May due to the humidity.  There's just no point.

Dear Other Curly Haired Girls, Humidity is my mortal enemy.  About 6 years ago I took the plunge and got my hair permanently straightened.  Yes, it's expensive and it takes a long time to get it re-touched, but I love it and I will probably never go back to curly hair.

Stephie, I did that too.  Twice and it would still curl up on days like today.  I also had to grow it out to a certain length since the chemicals would burn up my hair and then I had to have it cut off back to my shoulders.

My hair's not actually curly, but it does have a little wave to it, so it just gets all funky. On very humid days, I can scrunch it with curling mousse and pass it off as curly, but if it's not humid enough or it's too long it won't do it right. It's very complicated, haha

Dear FI ExFriendWhy do you insist on trying to talk to my FI again?? You stopped talking to him because of me and you hated me since you wanted him to date your sister. There is a reason why he does NOT want to talk to you again....Dear Knotties - I miss not being about to knot all the time! :( I haven't done much for the wedding and I can feel the stress already! Dear Steph - I was thinking about doing that to my hair..but I heard it was very expensive...I am just not willing to pay for it. I have never dyed my hair or paid anything more than $20 for my hair cut.-broke me.

Dear Duggars, You are creepy. Every time I happen to watch your show I get completely horrified and feel like I am a part of some kind of strange cult. Please stop having children and allow your children to be exposed to the outside world. I hope and pray that your children rebel and realize sooner than later that the family they grew up in is not their fault. Ugh...

Emi, there's one of the girl Duggars that I just know is going to rebel. I think it's Jinger? (I know, Ginger with a J, weird). She's the one who always has sunglasses on her head. She's going to break out at some point, and I hope we get to witness it.

Dear TLC, Yes, I'm still watching you and saw the preview for tonights: Meet the Duggar Grandbaby. Gross. Gross. Gross. Dear Crazy girl who Married into that family, Why would you want your MIL all up in your business when you're giving birth? Have you ever even left your home state of Arkansas? Do you know what it is like to wear pants? Grossed out. Dear Knotties, Disclaimer: I don't usually watch terrible tv all day, but I'm stuck at home sick. Please forgive me.

Dear ladies asking about ankle stuff,The NY Times had an article a little while back about ankle injuries, exploring why people who have had one injury are prone to more, and it suggested that it was because of balance.  I'm not sure how one determines how well-balanced one is, but it suggested that simple balance exercises can help prevent further injuries, which I read as an excuse to spend more time on the fun games in WiiFit than on the actual workout stuff.  :)- Alana

Dear Brother,I wish I could uninvite you and your tacky FI to my wedding. I *almost* didn't invite her because of space and let's face it...you suck as a brother. and a son. I am glad to know that you do not consider me or our sister your immediate family but you would "make room for me and sister" at your "very very small wedding" in Santa Fe, NM. I am also very pissed that, knowing I am getting married in one month, the thought of not inviting David never crossed your mind. Even though he will be my HUSBAND. Glad I know where I stand in your thoughts and no, I will not be going to your wedding because you are not worth the $100/night plus gas. Guess whoever your Fiancee is works well with you because apparently she has no problem with it either. Whatever. I am done with you.-Apple
