Name change question

How soon after the wedding can you get a copy of your marriage license and start the name change process?  How was the knottie who had all he helpful name change info in their bio?

    I believe it's 'AmyRI'  You can get the marriage license at the town hall 36 hrs after.It's not as bad as it sounds; please feel free page me with any questions:)Jessica

    I was married on Saturday, and town hall had it ready by Thursday (although part of that time depends on how fast your officiant gets the signed marriage license to town hall). My bio has tons of name change stuff in it... glad other people have found it useful!Good luck!
