Adam Kegg girls

For those of you who used Adam to do your wedding video --- how long did it take before you had your video? I know he's a nurse & the videography is a side gig so I was just curious. Our wedding was 6 weeks ago...and I'm so anxious to see the vid! :)

Since business is booming it's taking him longer than usual. I got mine in the mail a little over three months after the wedding. Sorry to say, but yours is probably going to take another month. Don't worry, it's all worth it!

Mine was six weeks, but I was one of his first brides.

Mine took longer than usual, but I can't complain. Adam and his wife welcomed their first born son within a few weeks of my wedding. He sent me a teaser fairly quickly, though. You'll be very happy.

It took us about 10-12 weeks to get our final video and was worth the wait :)

Adam is a perfect example of why the amateurs need to stay home and let the pros shoot weddings. He sucks beyond compare.

Just google Joe Simon video, Blue Star Video, Still Motion, Jason Magbanua, Ray Roman. I've found that a good lot of young women have no idea what a good wedding video looks like due to a lack of life's experiences.

Dude, how are those sour grapes you're munching on?

I've found that a good lot of young women have no idea what a good wedding video looks like due to a lack of life's experiences. Are you serious???  This is one of the most f'd up sentences I've ever seen!  I'm really having a hard time containing myself honestly.  Good lot?  Seriously?

Shorty, I guess I hit a nerve. You must be one of the unfortunate brides that went cheap on her video and now can't stand to watch it anymore.

You're an idiot.  Adam may not do Pulitzer-prize winning videos YET, but he's just starting out.  Everyone has to start somewhere.  I happen to LOVE my video (done by Adam) and I watch it all the time.  His business has tripled since I used him, so that's some indication of his work if you ask me. True, he may not be a fit for every bride, because every bride has a different style, budget, etc.  Go back to your little cave, troll.  We don't want you here.

Nope actually, not married yet and not getting a videographer.  I just think it's funny that according to you, young brides don't have enough life experience to pick out their vendors.  What does life experience have to do with it?

Mandy, so now it comes down to name-calling? I guess that's what uninformed people do when they know they can't argue with the facts that flies in the face of thier fantasy. If you knew he wasn't that good a year ago, why did you hire him? Most likeley it was all about price. That's the first mistake you made. The second mistake was posting a link to his Vimeo page for all of the Knotties can go to get a big laugh.

I didn't say he wasn't GOOD, I said he may not be Pulitzer-prize winning, I believe.  All that matters is if the bride is happy.  And this bride IS.  And several others ARE.  And his business is successful.  So I must ask, why the sour grapes?  Just because YOU don't like his style or his product, why do you need to come on here and trash him?  Sounds like you have a personal vendetta against him for some reason, which is ridiculous.

If you prefer to float your boat down a river of crap, then, good for you. I don't have it IN for Kegg, he's just one of MANY bad videographers in Dallas. When I saw this thread, it just set me off. Now that I think about it, I need to consider the source when making these statements....most Knotties are cheap azz b!tches with zero expectations from the video guy. They just want to see thier face on the tube and that pretty much does it for them.

How about YOU do YOUR research and find a video of his that "sucks".And, as mandy pointed out, if he sucks so much why does he keep getting recommended? It's not like we don't see his work, as many brides who have used him on this board have posted their videos for us to see.Get a life.

....most Knotties are cheap azz b!tches with zero expectations from the video guy. They just want to see thier face on the tube and that pretty much does it for them.So I haven't been here all afternoon, but you are sadly mistaken. Not only am I not "cheap azz" I am not a "b!tch" either. I would also argue that the vast majority of Knotties on here are NEITHER of those. My mom and and dad contributed what money they could, as well as my husband and I. I sacrificed a lot of money to not have my uncle tape my wedding crooked as he did for my parents. I now have great memories of things I didn't even know happened. In addition, I hate being the center of attention so this was not me trying to "see thier [sic] face on the tube." I would have rather had an awesome cake, awesome dress, and awesome video, than a $50 cake, a $50 dress, and a superawesometastic video.

Every single vendor starts out somewhere, Dude.  You want to make all these claims about knotties yet you are registered and posting.  Doesn't that make you one of the same then? I sure wasn't laughing when I watched the videos, btw.  Oh.  Thier=their.  likeley=likley. I would say scurry along now so that us cheap azz b!tches don't rub off on you, but it's a little late.
