Poll: No Shows out of RSVP Yes's

There's an interesting thread over on weddingbee about how many no shows each wedding had (out of those who RSVP'ed yes).  For those that have gotten married, did you have a lot of last minute cancelations/no shows?  What percentage?  On the other hand, did you have any guests that showed up despite not RSVP'ing (or RSVPing no)?

I don't know if I was lucky or a hanus B!tch towards the end, but we didn't have anyone show up that didn't RSVP. Because we had so many OOT guests, we had a pretty good idea of who was/wasn't coming. I also didn't have to give an EXACT number to my venue; they were happy with a ballpark. And I'm the minority here too, because I only had one couple no-show out of 180 ppl and one person who couldn't come at the last minute due to an emergency. Again, I'm the minority in both situations.

I think we had probably 4-6 no shows and last minute cancellations.  This was out of the 106 people I had rsvp "yes". I didn't have any guests show up that didn't rsvp.

I don't think we had anyone show up that had either not RSVPed at all, or had sent back a No.  We did have one person who got sick 2 days before the wedding, and we knew he couldn't make it.  And we also had one couple who RSVPed yes, went to the ceremony, but didn't go to the reception.  I'm not sure if they planned it that way all along or what, but we counted them towards our final numbers and it would've been nice if we had known that they weren't going to come.  Oh well, no big deal.

We have had one couple cancel in the last few days due to something with their child. I also have an aunt that has told another aunt she is comming even though she didnt' RSVP. I am sure we will have some no shows.....

I had about five or six that didn't end up showing.  I was a little miffed because I would have invited others.  I didn't have any one crash the wedding.

Out of 200 invited guests, we had 136 responded they'd be there. (a few were verbal responses, or "undetermined" (maybes or did not check if they were attending or not). 109 showed up for the ceremony, and several left right after the ceremony (I assume because they had not responded or only wanted to attend the ceremony). In our circles, usually if they don't respond it means they aren't coming.

There were probably more people who came that didn't rsvp than there were people who rsvp'd yes and didn't show at my wedding.

I had 10 that RSVP'd but no showed out of 70; only 2 of those 10 actually contacted us that they weren't coming because of stomach flu. I have no idea on the rest, Sure would like my money back for those 8 who were just inconsiderate. We didn't have any wedding crashers!
