remembering loved ones

I have been trying to come up with a way to remember a couple loved ones who have passed away at my wedding cremony. A lil while back I had come across a reading that someone had the jp read during their cremony that said something along the lines of taking a moment of silence to remember ________. It said some other things in it too about how the person is with us today I think. I thought I had saved it somewhere and now I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where I can find a good saying like this or have any ideas? I had really loved the saying I found and I have no idea where I found it! Any help/suggestions would be great! Thank you!

    It may have been mine, we had a brief statement such as "and for those who are not here today (names) we know that they are here with us in spirit."  The actual wording was much more elegant, but I don't have it with me at work.  I'll post it later tonight, if that's OK.

    I'm at home now, so here's what we had in our ceremony: Those who could not be with us here today, we would like to recognize, that they live on in the hearts of Stacy and Todd. They are here with us today, if only in our hearts, watching as we celebrate this blessed union. Let us take a few moments to remember and honor Arthur and Virginia, and any other loved ones who are not able to join us today

    Thank you very much. It was something along those lines, but it was still a little different. I would know it if I read it. Don't get me wrong, that is very nice, and if it's ok with you, I might use part of that, but I am still kind of looking for the wording that I originally had. Thank you so much again!! If anyone else has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

    Absolutely use it, change it, etc.!  Heck, I stole it from a website that had ceremonies for my religious traditions, and changed the wording from there.  Good luck!

    I have also seen photos of the departed with a few words on a placard on the reception table where guests sign the guest book. You could also consider adding thier photos to your program?
