Yup. I plan on filing for unemployment until something better comes my way. I'll even flip burgers. Or maybe move to TN to work in the hotel with Whit.

I will start looking after everything is over with. I've never been fired or laid off before so this is certainly different.

Very sorry dear. Definitely file for unemployment right away, and enjoy the time free of the workplace. I've been out of work for 6 months (back to work Monday!)- I can't lie, it has its advantages (like being able to lie in bed at 11 a.m. and read The Knot).
