Soooo IRRITATING!!!!

So in my classroom I have a box of those cheap stopwatches with three buttons, the sports ones that hang around your neck.  I use them in class to time kids performances.  Well I don't know why they have an alarm setting.  NO ONE uses a cheap plastic stopwatch as an alarm!  I CANNOT figure out how to deactivate the alarms.  Once a kid accidentally sets it, it goes off at that time every day.  They don't come with instructions, and I am pretty technologically savvy, but I swear there is no way to turn off the alarm once it is set.  It's like a bnomb. What is on your nerves today?

That I took today off to catch up on sleep like I do every year the day after the Homecoming Parade and my bestest friend in the world--who knows this--called to chat during her lunch.  I only got a little nap  in.  :-(

That I'm one of the few people that bothered to even come into the office today.  In no way has my boss ever implied that Fridays = work from home, yet almost all of the people that she manages decided to stay home.  I wish she would walk down our aisle and see that I'm the only one here.

I'm annoyed by what I have to get done today. We're having guests in town for TX/OU weekend and I have to get my house guest ready. Also, I have a crazy, last minute work thing to do which I have ZERO desire to get done. Ugh. At least its Friday.

That I can never get any work done in the afternoons. I know I'm just volunteering my time, but I should not be stuck in this little room by myself. It's not good for my work ethic.

That my doctor's office just called me to inform me that my doctor is no longer with their practice, and I have to pick a new doctor for my appointment Monday.  Worst of all, it's my OB/GYN, and it took FOREVER for me to find someone I liked that took time to answer all of my questions and concerns.  Sigh.

Emi - me too!  Of course, I sort of have an obsession with all trashy reality television.  Shameful, I know.

Smiley - it is sooo shameful, but so great too. Have you seen Dallas Daughters & Divas? It's just as bad, but better.

We've had a garage sale schedule for a month now for next week. We HAVE to get rid of all this stuff in our house. My husband "forgot" and scheduled a tee time on garage sale day. I just talked to him about the dang thing yesterday!!

DISCLAIMER: Cat lovers may want to skip over this one....I hate TJ's cats. Seriously. One of them had crystals last week (the equivalent of human kidney stones) and had a $320 surgery. He's now on prescription food for the rest of his life. On top of all that, he's got a cold or something because it has been literally non-stop sneezing and sniffling. Before I get criticized.. at least I didn't give TJ an ultimatum.

A partner at my law firm that never RSVP'd just came in and said she and her husband may come, but when do I really, really have to know?  Um, last Wednesday. We literally have 3 spots left.  They'll be sitting with a bunch of people they don't know.

Banana - It is on the Style network; it's so bad. Ugh, Allison! I'm NOT a cat person, either and luckily neither is Jeff. Probably because we're both allergic. Good Luck!

Disclaimer: I love my dad and love that he is trying to do whatever I want...But...Can you please decide what to wear yourself? I don't have to approve it! I don't care what tux you get or what color your tie is. Just choose one and if you just *have* to have my approval ask me after you have chosen. Still love you though

Lol, Allison you make me laugh. I am with you though, I hate cats. Sorry ladies. Just not my thing....I don't even like dogs that much either. I guess I am just not an animal person. Steph, I KNOW how you feel. Just got a my first facebook message, am sure I will get more, asking what date do I need the reply card by and that their mail service is messed up, etc.....today was the deadline. Yeah, thanks. Like you said, these people who wait will be sitting by themselves or with people they don't know.

I have decided if someone doesn't respond they don't get a designated spot. They can be offended their name isn't on the seating chart and figure it out themselves haha! Also, I hate that all my current fave songs come on when I am about to leave or arrive at my destination. especially if I'm late and can't stay to finish listening to it LOL Yeah I'm a little lame. But I'm ok with that for now.

I posted this on facebook and thought maybe someone could get a laugh... I handed out a survey to my two oldest classes. 8-10 yr. olds and 11 & up. I asked how I could better their experience in my ballet class and seriously three people wrote and I quote "Ummm IDK, use kewl music?" Sigh... Gotta love honesty :)Oh geez, I hope I didn't mess up the formatting.

Traffic. I should have worked from home today. Normally, at this time, my bus is halfway home. We haven't even left downtown yet.
