Not off my chest, but off my arm??

Goddamnnn my flu shot is killing me!! I know you feel a little bit sore but I am talking I just ran to the packie and could literally not drive with that arm. Now I am wondering if drinking after a flu shot is the least bright idea I have had all week? Thoughts? If not, should I go with the pinot or pumpkin beer?Bonus: Name some one you want to hug today. From the knot. I liked hugging Capri :)

Re: Not off my chest, but off my arm??

  • Probably shouldnt drink after a flushot, I dont know why but it seems medical and drinking+medical seems bad in my mind.I want to hug lots of people, but no one ever comes to canada for gtg's with nebb so I will keep my hugs to. my. self.
  • ::sigh:: you are probably right Nebb. You being in far away from me in Canada sucks. It would be worth the trip.
  • of course you can drink. Drink away!
  • My vote is for pumpkin beer, I think you'll be fine.I'll give Punky a hug, I think we may have made a breakthrough.
  • Im super parinoid about stuff though so take my advice with a grain of salt, im always worried drinking with meds in my system will fry my brain (I just wrote hair, and realized that wasnt right).Canada IS too far away :(
  • I'm getting my flu shot tomorrow so I don't want to know that it hurts.   Please delete this post out of respect
  • OOT - I promise I didn't feel a thing when they did it. Just now. I am always that person who gets the shiit end of the stick with these type of things though so don't go by me.Nebb- I should know this, but where in Canada are you?
  • Southern Ontario, right close to Niagara Falls. I am extremely close to the border, but I dont have a passport so I cant cross it!
  • You can't cross the border with just a license or photo ID?  Did they change the rules on this?
  • Meaghan I really like your picture, I am getting married on the beach as well and can not wait. Sorry to thread jack...
  • I love the parts of Canada that I've seen, Toronto, Montrea, Ottowa & Vancouver.   Of course, that could just be because their business supports me
  • Thanks! I figured from your name ;)We didn't actually get married on the beach though but we went there to take pictures in between the church and the reception. It is our favorite beach in the world and quite hidden so it was very peaceful and private to take pics on. Although, Carly Simon did write a song about the beach, which I have not gotten around to downloading.
  • Not anymore, I forget the date that it changed but for the first little while you still could with ID, but now it has to be a passport.
  • Well its a great picture!
  • Wow! Not as bad as you would think at all Nebb. 7 hours by car. I just google mapped that.
  • I know I would hug Capri, Cew, and Bec. I feel a definite kindred spirit thing with Capri and Cew, and Bec - well, she just makes me happy.I'd hug Brie, if she was a hugger, that is, if I could stop hugging that freakingly cute Millhouse!!Ithink I would hug most of the knotties at the midwestern GTG, if we pull it off, at least the ones who are "huggy" (not everyone is).

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • Canada is great, those cities are all fantastic. I lived in ottawa for a year when I was younger, it is colder than a mofo during the winter there! I was not expecting that.
  • 7 hrs is a cake walk!! Im trying to convince my husband that we need to do a US road trip next year stopping to meet knotties and internet  people he talks to. I have him half convinced right now.
  • My only problem with Ottowa was that I would fly in with a connection to make lunch.  After lunch & conference with an account, I would fly to either Toronto or Montreal for a client dinner.  made me tired
  • That is a lot of flying, not far, but its a long time to be travelling in one day!
  • I am am sure the tri-state area knotties (and delware, i am looking at you sarah) would rally up a good party.
  • used to be from PA : (  I miss it
  • Meaghan, I just wanted to say thanks.
  • Me and him both have friends in NY we would want to visit so thats one of our stops, then we want to work our way down the coast to somewhere in florida where he also has a friend, and stop along the way (and divert in a bit when necessary) to meet people in the middle, then over to New Orleans where he has another friend, and back up again. I dont even have a clue how much that would cost, but its the plan ive cooked up in my head!
  • No problem, meant every word doll.Nebb - don't think I won't fuel the fire of this plan every now and then. You can't just lead me on like this can you?
  • Nebb, roughly the cost would be: A LOT!  If you could pull it off, it would be an amazingly fun trip!  If you also can stay with friends while you're visiting, obviously that would save some cash as well.
  • That is a really long trip isnt it, but I WANNA!!! sometimes my plans are wildly unrealistic. I need to make some kind of budget for it and explain how we can make it work, thats usually good enough to get my husbands approval for things.
  • YAY!party at my place :)
  • party at my place :)That would make all my knottie dreams come true. I am sure I am not alone. Bring M.
  • I'm always up for an east coast P&E party. And hugs for all y'all. I'm definitely not shy about hugs.
