Best Man

FI has an issue where his best friend kinda assumed he was gonna be the best man and he told him that he was gonna be. Now we dont know what to tell his brother. Is the brother supposed to be the best man or is it ok to pick the best friend?

    Your FI should pick whoever he wants to be his best man.  If he wants his brother then he should pick his brother.  If he wants his best friend then he should pick his best friend.

    I was the maid of honor in my friend's wedding and her two sisters were bridesmaids. I think your Fi should chose who he wants to be his best man.

    My FI and I have decided not to have a BM or MOH.  We just decided it would be easier this way, and would avoid hurting anyone's feelings....FI would have liked to have asked one of his friends over his bro, since the bro is not the type who would be up for the job...but the bro's feelings would have been hurt if FI asked a friend over him...so we just did away with titles altogether.  FI will have his bro and my bro standing for him, and I will have my best friend and FI's sister standing for me.  And it's fine, b/c FI's friends will be the ones who organize his bach party and do all that stuff anyway.Good luck!
