Ahh Crap. Help?

So I received my invitations back from the printer earlier this week, and I just noticed that my RSVP cards don't have a date on them. It's completely my fault, as I approved a proof last week, but now I don't know what to do about letting my guests know the RSVP date. Do any of you have any suggestions? I am going to be kicking myself all week long for this.

  • Buy nice pretty card stock in your colors. Print a nice note that tells guest the RSVP date, print on the card stock in the size of business card, cut, and put in the envelopes. Ta da!
  • You could also do what MissSarah said, but use the 250 free business cards from vistaprint and only pay shipping.

  • Thank you for the idea! I didn't think of printing out something separate at all, and I kept thinking that I would ruin my lovely invitations if I hand wrote the date on the RSVP card. I'll check out VistaPrint this afternoon.

  • Another thought. . . could you do very small stickers in a pretty color/font with the reply-by date on them to put on the RSVP card?  I'm afraid if it's on a separate card it may not get noticed.

  • I too made a mistake on my RSVP cards. We forgot to put the "accepts" regrets" spot. I had been too focused on getting the wording right for guests to choose their meal, and let me know who wanted what to eat. We ended up sending out, as is, the ones to guests we were 100% sure they were coming.  I then reordered more, with the correct check spot, for those we weren't sure about. I feel your frustration though!!
  • I actually agree with squirrly. While I think the Sarahs' idea is more aesthetically pleasing, maybe some clear index marker size stickers typed up with the date on them would make things more clear than a seperate card would.
