Anyone done this? Someone gave me the DVDs and guides so I'm tempted to try it

I have a co-worker who did P90X and reshaped her entire body! I don't know how much weight she lost but she had killer abs after. She did the whole 90 day routine and ate very well.

Was she pretty athletic to begin with?

My brother has done it, he stuck with it for the first couple of weeks and now does it on and off, he has lost weight. He bought a "motivation" to lose weight shirt and it fits him great now!

I'm kind of concerned because I've heard the food plan is really invovled and also that the portions would be geared toward men?

I don't know much about the program except that my personal trainer was doing it, and I figured that if *she* was doing it, there's no way I'm ready for it. But that doesn't mean that you're not!

I don't think he followed the food plan, just cut back on junk, portion sizes and sodas.

My husband and I started it but never finished it. It is totally manageable for someone who is not particularly athletic but I would suggest working out a little before you start it to build up your stamina. It is a killer workout. Do not be discouraged if you cannot do lots of reps of the moves. However, it seems to get great results. Friends of ours have done the whole program, including sticking with the food regimen, and they have lost weight and toned up. They look incredible. There are two food plans. One is where meals are totally planned out. The other tells you how many foods from each category to eat throughout the day. This plan worked better for me because I am a picky eater.

Sorry. I was busy at work. Yes we bought a pull up bar. I did not finish because I left for Poland. We want to start up again soon though. Good luck!

My co-worker was tiny but not athletic. All they ate every night was grilled chicken, brown rice and a vegetable. And for lunch she ate like 3 pieces of ham and a rice cake with peanut butter and a fruit. Again, she was tiny to begin with and didnt need to eat that much anyways. But it was really hard for them to stick to the diet part.
