My husband was voted Mr. Name of his HS. He's like the teacher version of the Homecoming King, he got to be in the Homecoming Parade and was announced at the Homecoming Game. Funny, after being a prep in HS, I now feel like the girl dating the coolest guy in school even though I'm no longer in HS.

Arb... i LOVE that photo! It's bad@ss.I got everything I asked for from these companies I interviewed with, but declined because they were all out of state and H wants to go back to school. Feels good to know I was able to negotiate max salaries.Our wedding is in Real Weddings so now we have photos with the permanent "k" in the little left hand corner. And today I found out I still don't have cavities.

Your dog is cute.I got a huge ego boost last week. I went in to visit my H at work, and when a customer came to the counter I said goodbye and left. Well, that customer is running for some office or another in our town. He's a really dirty old guy. He walked up to the counter after I walked out and told my H that I looked really skinny (HUUUUUUUUUUGE ego boost for me). Only then he went all dirty on my H and asked him if I was losing weight because he was giving it to me really hard... Oh well, I'll take a compliment where I can get it.

Brinkley is famous! Are you going to be getting him his own security? You should. There are a lot of crazies out there. Me: My nephew is due in 2 weeks. I think he'll be early. Ben wishes on a star every night that baby Eli will be a Halloween baby. Also, FI and I are going on a mini vacation this weekend to Charlotte. We are staying two nights. Going to Dave and Busters one night and the Panthers game the next night. Yay!

I'm happy we got to take pics together as a family. FI's son included. This is the first time ever. His son is nearly 6 years old. This means so much to us.

Dangit, I wish I had my uber cool lighthouse shot I took in FL. I'll try to post it later. It's a semi-creepy dusk shot. I'll take this opportunity to brag on my better half-- he has decided that he wants to go back to school. He has a tech school degree, and figured that would be all he needed for life. Well, his current job is horrible, which I hate for him, but it has made him aspire to be more than just a machine operator (he doesn't like being told what to do all the time), and he doesn't want to do manual labor for the next fifty years. So he wants to do something to make him more marketable as a manager in his industry. He currently is in an Associate Management position in title only, but he is very good at being in charge of other people.Anyway, he will be getting a Associate's in Business (if he follows through, of course-- I'll know he's serious if he lasts that first quarter). I'm very proud of him nontheless. Sorry for the rambling. I was trying to make sense.

Oh, my other thing, it is not a picture, but apparently I've been on a roll lately, and my site traffic has been much higher than usual, consistently, for a while now. TJ, your dog is freaking adorable. Seeing those pics is increasing my puppy fever substantially. My brag: This weekend, FI and I are going to Minneapolis (my hometown and our wedding location) to visit my family and do wonderful pumpkin-related fall things. While there, I'm showing my mom the dress (and probably ordering it, finally), doing a tasting at our reception site, showing my FILs our ceremony site, and celebrating my and FI's birthdays. They're one day apart next week, and my mom is a big birthday person. She's making tofurkey and everything. Basically, I'm really excited.

)) I can't believe how big Liam is getting!Congrats on the imminent arrival of Eli!! Andy has been praying for a new baby sister for a year - it's so cute. He now tells people she's going to be "gorgeous." My dog hates the pool. The photos of her I have in the water; she's on my back, clawing for her life. My parents' dogs loved to be on floats - they'd just float around in the pool. We'd put a towel down, so no claws would puncture the floats, and away they'd go. I have two small ones: we got our official paperwork from Clark County yesterday, so now I can take a half day and hit up Social Security and the DMV for my new name stuff!Also, my insurance processed, and I'm getting a fairly big refund from the dentist - they're paying a pretty decent chunk of even my IV sedation - I'm kinda doing a happy dance about that.
