I just had to share my "LOL" moment. With my shower coming up on 11/7 I decided it was safe to start registry stalking. And sure enough I saw the first purchase! It looks like the person was trying to build a $50 package (including shipping maybe?) and this is what it is... 2 sets of potholders, 2 sets of oven mitts... and 4 of 12 napkin rings? Don't get me wrong, I'll be happy for whatever we receive, and I'm psyched that it means people are actually using our registry... but really? Our china is $50/setting, isn't that easier than ordering a third of a set of something? FI and I can't wait to find out who it is from because we think it's too funny, there's got to be a story here!Has anyone else had anything random like this?

Actually, that happened to us.. someone bought 3 of the 12 red wine glasses... hu?! We found out that when the online order was being placed, the online warehouse only had 3 to ship out at the time, therefore not allowing more than 3 to be purchased. haha. It COULD explain the case of the 4 napkin rings?!

We registered for a porcelain soup tureen with a matching ladle. Someone bought us only the ladle. Weird. The tureen was bought by someone else awhile later, but still. Weird.

My aunt, who I love, got us some really ugly towels from Macy's. We didn't register there, and they're not anything we would have picked for ourselves, but we decided to keep them for guests because they actually really soft. We also had a set of friends buy us a shmorgasbord of little gadgets we'd registered for. They got us this massive pancake spatula too. It's awesome. I swear, it's bigger than my head!

Someone bought us 1 out of 8 cereal bowls. Fortunately, someone else bought the other 7!

We thought there was a mistake with our registry because there is a bunch of random stuff on there that was purchased that we didn't register for. For example, we registered for a bunch of kitchen "gadgets" and instead of buying one of the many gadgets we have on the registry, someone bought a random basting set. And, we registered for four different sets of stem ware (red wine, white wine, champagne and martini). Someone bought a different random set of red wine glasses and the ones we registered for were already purchased. And those are just a couple of examples!

We had a few instances like that where you could tell people must have just added things to get to a certain dollar amount... We got one candlestick and one wine glass from a person and a few other similar 'packages' as well
