  I emailed her as soon as I ordered my dress in January!  But scheduled my fitting for August.  I knew I wanted to get the appointment but didn't want to bother her during "wedding season."  I would say any time is fine.

  Yep she will tell you to call her when you get your dress and tell you when to come in based on when you need your dress
