My sister does a lot of research for her job and found me on here. She called me today to let me know she was uncomfortable with one of my older threads but otherwise she said reading my posts was fun. So I guess really I'm just saying "Hi" to my big sister in CA. She's stalking my party planning

Eek, remember when my friend IRL found me here? I was asking about her bad business logo, got lots of good advice here, then she found it, and called me at 2 in the morning. Yikes!

She was upset because I was "bad mouthing" her business. In my defense, her business is wedding photography and I needed to see what real brides thought of it. No one here liked it. I wish I had deleted the thread before sending her the constructive criticism email. She then said that she would NEVER write or say anything like that behind my back. Then I told her that "yes you prefer to insult me to my face." We're still friends, and she was a bm at our wedding.

I just called my sister a nutjob in a thread below. She'd probably be pretty uncomfortable with that, but most BSCies don't know they are, so I'd expect it. I'd feel weird reading my sister's stuff on a MB. J's sister found his other sister on a mommy board and she'd vented to her friends about something going on between them, and they don't speak now. It wasn't badmouthing, and she used no names; it was just venting her frustrations and asking for advice. I think I'd rather just not know. Of course, if my non-BSC sister found TK, you people would not know what hit you. Apart we are a mess. Together we are a freakin CIRCUS!

Au contraire, she was pissed. But she said that we had issues because we used to be best friends but that we couldn't talk anymore. A week later, I called her with "all the issues" I had with her and she sat and took them all. Since then, it's been great. I held a lot in for a long time.

My cousin IS on here..... She's getting married in about 3 weeks.I have no idea if she ever ventures to P&E, or even knows I'm over here. I've seen her on the DC area (or Northern VA board) a couple of times.Remember the posting about the girl who was ticked she couldn't get the chapel she wanted on-post because it was being used for too many military funerals and she was non-military? My cousin is from a military family and is getting married at that chapel. That girl was whiny.

Yes, thankfully! I didn't mean to imply that she was. HI Scoetto's sister! I don't think you're BSC! I'd actually kind of like having my non-BSC sister here. She'd be all like, "Heeeey Becca! Have you told them about ____________ (insert embarrassing moment)?" and I'd be all like, "Shut up and have another shot. It's almost 10am for Christ's sake." and she'd be all like, "YOU shut up before I tell them about the time you peed your pants in 2nd grade on the bus. Oops! Too late!" Ok, second thought, I don't want either of my sisters finding me on TK.

Awkward. At my previous job, a girl was engaged and I talked smack about here all the time because she was committing etiquette crimes like once a week. I'm glad she didn't see my posts.The only person I've "run into" on here is a girl on my local who was a friend of a friend in college. She's freaking awesome, i wish she'd post on P&E b/c she's hilarious.

I ran into DH's friend's Fi on here. I felt weird seeing her posts about her wedding planning problems because I was invited to the wedding, so it felt like I wasn't supposed to know about those details.

This is why I try to keep TK and FB fairly separate. My BFF would have the smarts to find this place and then it would be all over; where would I vent then? That's also why I didn't have a picture of myself until now.

NBSC sister is on FB, but BSC is not. Speaking of sisters (not to threadjack, scoetto, but ok I'm threadjacking!), FI's sister emailed me this morning asking about my BSC sister's RSVP to the wedding tea she's having for me. It was ridiculous. So formal and stupid. We had a laugh, and then I forwarded it to NBSC sister and she wrote her own RSVP to both of us. BSC is below, and I'll do another post with NBSC's response (SIA for the C/P formatting): BCS: Ma'am,I am both delighted and excited to attend afternoon tea in honor my sister, Bec, at 2pm on Wednesday the 28th of October. My family is very happy for both J and Bec and look forward to meeting you on this joyous occasion. Thank You for the thoughtful invitation. I should tell you, however, that I am traveling with my young daughter mini-me, 5 yrs old. I would respectfully ask your permission to allow her to attend with me, unless you feel it would be less than suitable for your arrangements. Please, let me know what you suggest, so that I can make childcare arrangements prior to my arrival in North Carolina the day prior.Respectfully,

well at least BSC sis asked if she could bring the mini-me and won't be all pouty about it if she can't. She gets NBSC points for that, yes? I think I was found on here by a family member, but I'm not certain since she never came out and said so, but I do find myself tempering what I say now.
