I purchased my shoesies last night off Amazon. I hope they fit...

These were the ones I originally wanted, but when I was looking around they didn't get great reviews... plus they're 6 inches... and although the other ones are still 5 inches... i NEVER wear heels, so I was scared to go with the higher heel. I don't want to break my ankle on wedding day!! :P (These are soooo cute though...)

If I get really adventurous I might add lace to my shoes, but I don't want to mess them up... so probably not.

I got FI zebra print socks that came in a few days ago. They're pretty funny.

He asked me if I was getting zebra print socks too... and I was like ummm I can't wear socks with my heels! It turned out he forgot I was getting zebra print shoes though. haha

Due to some unnecessary drama, we had a groomsmen drop out... and FI asked another close friend (who was actually number 6 on his list -- and we decided to have only 5) to be the new groomsmen. The new groomsmen was really happy to be asked, and knew the situation and everything so it wasn't awkward. I'm happy we won't have a gap so we aren't reminded by the drama the day of. Plus, I like this friend better... lol

I think I found a flower girl dress; I'm not sure how long it takes to get in so I'll have to have it ordered soon.

Purchased the MOB dress with my mom-- she looks fabulous!! I'm so excited for her, because she really doesn't like dress shopping and lo and behold, it was the first and only one she tried on!

I also purchased my earrings from our local jeweler, the one who we bought our rings from. They are gorgeous. I'll have to take a pic and post, because I can't describe them without sounding like a rambling crazed person.

I'm calling the letterpress people today to make an appointment to design the invitations. We have got to get them ordered here shortly- time is flying by!!!

I had a fitting with my seamstress- went really well, we are going to wait for April to do any actual alterations as I've been losing weight pretty steadily!

So excited about them!!

Our invitations went to print so that is super exciting! Hopefully we'll have them by next week, then slap them all together and send them our by the end of the month!

I am so excited that it is getting so close!!!!

Addressed more invitation envelopes... up to the "S" names now. Received my VP stamp for the RSVP return envelopes too, so I can start stamping those soon. Not much else this week, just waiting for an upcoming trip to Rochester on March 16.

I GOT ALL THE INVITATIONS DONE! Every single part, except for the licking of the envelope! They will go out in about a month, so I still have time, but with school, it is so nice to have this big check done. It also means that the wedding is so close! June 23rd, here we come!

Picked up my dress, and took it home. Couldnt stand leaving it at NYB anymore! Having it at home is a constant reminder that I need to eat a little healthier, and exercise a little more.

I'm finally over the heart break of the photographer we wanted to use telling us she's moving to Florida to take an photo advertising job at Disney World. We have started to research and contact new photographers.

A few months ago at a bridal show, I signed up for an appointment at David's Bridal. My bridesmaids and I went to that on Friday and they tried on dresses. I was pretty disappointed in their selection, so we went across the boulevard to Alfred Angelo and had a much better time there. I still have one bridesmaid that I hasn't gotten to try things on yet,but I'm not going to make a final decision anytime soon, so it doesn't really matter. Mostly I was talked into an appointment so we made the most of it.

Congrats to everyone sending out invites! That's so exciting to be that close!

Last night I drank lots of wine with my FI and we got all of our invitations stuffed and closed, they still need addressing and my FI is really into wanting to do wax seals on them, which he will be doing all by himself (tested last night and looks really great!)

Hopefully by this time next week they will already be in the mail!

Also started putting together ideas for my Bridesmaids gifts, I am going to get them all really nice robes embroidered with their names to wear while getting ready day of wedding and also a Vera Bradly clutch in different prints for each one.

Getting very excited and feeling very confident with what I have done so far!

Bito and Kpdorr both of your shoes are so fun and cute!

Mailed out my save the date's this monday! Really excited to have that weight off my shoulders. Other than that...don't think I've done much. This week I want to start looking for my jewelry & shoes. And we really need to find an officiant.

My shoes are from anthropologie too! I never knew they had such cute shoes until I was looking for the wedding. I LOVE yours!
