Since we got engaged, FI and I had always intended on planning and paying for the rehearsal dinner. FI has no father (truly, we have no idea who he is), and FMIL is unemployed. About two weeks ago, FMIL came to us and practically begged to "take care of" the rehearsal dinner. We agreed because we knew how much she wanted to be apart of the wedding planning process. She also guaranteed us that it would be paid for by her ex-husband. Fine. (LoL)
SO! Here's the dealio...
I talked to FMIL today and asked her, "What do you need from me?" Her only response was, "Head count!" She didn't/doesn't want names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. .. Yeaaa..
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what that means. Does this mean I'm sending out invitations for the rehearsal dinner? Or am I supposed to individually call each person and invite them? I don't really know the correct protocol for the rehearsal dinner.
Any help is greatly appreciated! =D

[QUOTE]It sounds like she wants to know who you expect to come, and obviously with the list, you can include mailing/phone so she can let them know. You are very brave-- and truly not a bridezilla, by allowing your FMIL to participate like this! KUTOS!
