Wow!!! I'm having problems finding reasonable invitations too. Even DIY seems quite expensive, for the things I like.

Invitations are quite expensive.. That's what led me to DIY... I'm not a crafty person but I became one when people started quoting me prices..

"girl GTFOH with that noise!"...that's what you and Marlon should have told homegirl when she quoted that price to y'all for some INVITATIONS...apparently she didn't get the memo that we are in a recession...LOL!...so what, she's personally creating the invites; hand printing them out; and then personally walking them to the doors of each of your guests, right?!...LMAO!!!ok kimmy.kory - you are a gonna have to stop showing out "DIY'r - $35 for 30 invites; ink - Free from work!"...I can't, I cannot...that was too funny...LOL!

Ok...sign me up on Blue's comment. That woman must have lost her mind. I sure hope she finds it before she has to go out of business. People are actually paying that kind of money for invites??? Lawd have mercy.

I am happy2 hear I am not alone!! She said she has been in business for 4yrs!!! I guess the rich can afford it but we r poo!!! She kept saying well they r custom, they r custom.... so what we have seen a custom invite and they didn't quote that price! They were on the high end but  still doable. We have one more person to c ( a sister home business) then we will make our final decision.I am soooo not a DIY bride at all!!! I brought the cake topper and still haven't touched it (I just brought hte crystals) So the invites me/us doing it is a NO!!lolI am about to contact Gen (old knottie) to make me an aisle runner too cause she is now a seller on etsy!!lol

I would have said, "Um naw that is NOT the business!!  At all ma'am!!" $3500-5000 on invites, she must have bumped her head.  I'm not a DIY person either, but I found invites that were classic and simple for about $200 from American Wedding.  But then again, it probably helps that I'm a no-frills type of person and neither is fi.

Our invites are about $2800. for a suite of  70, not including cost of hand calligraphy envelops.....$5000. is a bit much. I saw some $5000. invite when we were looking for invites, there is something for everyone.

Huh?  Oh I get it.  She planned on hand delivering diamond encrusted invites.  Yeah, she is sniffing, snorting, or shooting something.

I had to delete and redo...We are using Bella Figura. They are eco-friendly, letterpress invites. They make their own paper, envelopes, have many choices of ink and linings. They have two thicknesses of paper and custom size invites. They will do the entire invite suite. You can even get invites edges colored with the same ink print is in. First pic is 1st choice 2nd pic is 2nd choice.... Bella Figura | Letterpress | Letterpress wedding invitations, eco-friendly save the dates, letterpress invitations, environmental thank you cards
