Looking for restaurants in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Any kind of cuisine is good, except hibachi and sushi (because there aren't lots of options).Recommendations? And why you recommend . . ?
for RD or just general nibbling? if you just want to go out for dinner - I loveeee sukot thai - delish, authentic thai. Also coco thai asian bistro is yummy too but I findsukot to be more authentic Bravo italiano on 17th st rocksCarlos and Pepe's has AMAZING mexican
I forgot the why - sukot thai has the best red curry ever. so good, my mouth is watering. bravo does a great garlic and olive oil with pasta dish, but honestly everything I have ever had there has been excellent, fresh and large portionscarlos and pepes - yum. FI and I love the mexican fondue. I order something new every time and it's great. drinks are kinda pricey and it's always pretty busy (cuz it's so tasty!!) lol so call ahead or get there early
I second Carlos and Pepe's! Yummy, yummy Mexican! Canyon for it's great atmosphere and wonderful dishes. It's labled as "Southwestern" but every dish is infused with such unqiue flavors. Plus the prickly pear margaritas are delish! Kitchenetta is very yummy Italian with a fun atmosphere. Their wood-fired pizzas are also very good and they always have great specials.Casablanca Cafe on A1A has beautiful views and wonderful food. It is inside an old home

Bimini Boatyard - the seafood is great and it's on the water so you can eat outside. it also has a laid back vibe.Charley's Crab - they have one in wpb too but the seafood is really good. it's on the intercoastal. it is more romantic than Bimini.Eduardo San Angel - this is on Commerial. it's small, great for a date night and the food (spanish) is really good. it's in a shopping strip but gets great reviews.
