Ceremony Music choices? Dj/String performers?

Hey everyone,
Here's a question!! :)

So we have a DJ already booked for our affair and my game plan is to use that DJ for our ceremony as well.  Are most of you doing this or are you hiring some strings for your ceremony? Is it tacky to use DJ music for the ceremony?

Also - any suggestions on songs from DJ that can be used for walking down the aisle? or other times during ceremony?

    We used a harpist, but I've seen many people use their dj.  Sorry I can't help with song choices.  It's a very personal thing, so choose what you both love.

    We used a guitarist, he actually is a friend as well.  I have always loved acoustic guitar and it was perfect to have someone I knew was amazing, and someone who had a good voice because we decided to go with guitar and vocal during the girls and my entrance and recessional.  We used You and Me Lifehouse and Accidently In Love :)
