cheap reception ideas around mass

Hi,

My fiance and i are planning to get married on august 2013. Our budget is $15,000 and our guest is btw 200-250ppl. I've been looking everywhere and see that most venues suggested in this site are expensive for us. We also want to do outside catering because we wanted to do a buffet reception where we serve our guests dishes from our own ethnic background (filipino and burmese)

     I been Looking around as well and Im going to look at the Groveland Fairways they are pretty reasonalbe and the pics are really nice. I know they do outside caterers but  you may have to choose for there selection Not sure.

    Also Winthrop yacht Club is cheap and you can bring your own caterer in and its right on the water and  they have a Nice View of Boston

    I'm getting married at the Groveland Fairways and it is absolutely beautiful and sooooo inexpensive! The three caterers you have to choose from are amazing. I went with Cloverleaf and for 190 people it's around $7,500 and that's for stations. definitely second Groveland Fairways!

    I will 3rd Groveland Fairways! I think they could definitely work with you they allow 3 caterers so one might be able to help with your menu needs.  We are working with Affairs Catering and the owner Mitch has been amazing to work with and deal with the special requests so far.  I think we are having it for 150 people for about $6k for a plated meal.
