Right, Evs? I feel like a word doesn't exist to appropriately describe it. We'll have to make one up.

Absolutely decadent.  Best words to describe your beautiful wedding.I love the chocolate diamonds on your ring.  I was tempted to get them on my wedding band.  Looks gorg!

Incredible. Even better than I thought they would be - if that's even possible! Congrats!

"Decadent" - ooooh, I like that fool! I also like the word "lush" - it reminds me of fullness and richness. Your wedding was very full and rich. Also - friends of mine got married at Old South - I just love it in there! I must have looked like an idiot for half their ceremony ogling all the details inside :)

O.M.G.  Amazing!  I've been hemming and hawing on the chocolate diamonds, so it's nice to see how they look on a real person!  You looked absolutely stunning
  • edited December 2011
They are actually "champagne diamonds" along with regular diamonds... It was the perfect wedding gift as DH wrote out a sweet card about getting me Champagne Diamonds for our Champagne Wedding. So sweet :)

Absolutely unreal!  Everything was beautiful.  And I think 'lush' is a perfect description, Erilou.

These are un-freakin'-believable...that's all I can say...
  • edited December 2011
Everything was beautiful - stunning - all those details, hard work, and DIY projects definitely paid off! But I do hope you are able to get your money back from your florist - comparing the trial to the ones from the wedding - definitely a lot smaller
  • edited December 2011
Amazing! Stunning! Gorgeous! Those words don't even come close...thanks for sharing your amazing day with us!

I know, Wishin, and we paid $50 extra per centerpiece after the trail for her to make them larger than the trial ::sigh:: Oh well, she is not being cooperative at all after the event and I just hope no one else makes the same mistake by hiring her!!

Everything was gorgeous! I am so happy to get to see some of Dorie's work, as I have booked her for my wedding as well. I almost went with the same florist too, but after 30 or so e-mails back and forth to try to set up a time to meet with her, I decided against it. Again, stunning wedding!

Gorgeous, all the details were divine. I hope you are thrilled with how everything turned out (minus the flowers...I'd be beyond pissed and you shouldn't back down until she refunds you.)

Your wedding was amazing!!  So elegant and classy.  I have two questions....did you have the Mr. & Mrs. chair sashes made?  I really want dupioni silk chair sashes for our chairs and would love a recommendation.  Also, your wedding band is exactly what I want.  Did Long's custom make that for you?  My engagement ring was also purchased at Long's and I'm sure that is where we will go for wedding bands too.
  • edited December 2011
Hey Becky - I had the sashes made by the lady who made my flower girl dresses: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5697258They were embroidered by Tammy: www.monogrammingbytammy.etsy.com/Not sure what your colors are but I'll be selling mine once I pick them up from Boston. The band is a Memoire diamond band from Long's. It's sooo comfy and light - We worked with Judd in the Burlington location who is awesome and it's the same kind his wife wears evidently...
