What's everyone doing for Halloween? Any crazy costumes come up with you or any of your friends yet?

I'm probably going to be lame and stay home watching scary movies and enjoying a couple of beers.  I don't feel like going out to any parties, and I always enjoy spending time relaxing anyways.  :)

I went to Target yesterday and got costumes for my dogs. Turtle and squirrell. Man, there's nothing funnier than an animal dressed as another animal.I went to a costume party on Saturday as a zombie since I loved Zombieland sooo very much. Hub put on a blonde wig. It's pretty cute to see a 6'5" man in a blonde wig.I've got some thinking to do before this weekend's festivities.

I am having a costume party at my house the night of. If any of y'all don't have plans you are welcome to crash :pNo exciting costume this year though. Not enough money LOL It is all being funneled into last minute purchases for the wedding.I am going as a midnight fairy or something like that. Don't remember what they called it but it's black and maroon. My friend is going to help me make a tutu for it though and spice it up a bit I think. Either that or Goldilocks :p

I almost got that turtle costume for my beagle, but went with the chicken for him and the bee for my boston. I couldn't get a single good picture of them, they were so busy sniffing each other.I'm having a costume party at my house and I'm going to dress up as Starchild from KISS. It would be sweet if my girlfriends would dress as my bandmates, but no one was down. boooo.I decided to serve shots based on candies for Halloween and found recipes for Jolly Rancher and Snickers shots. I cannot wait to try those out!

Those candy shots sound fun! We're having open bar at the wedding, but I might set out a menu of suggested Halloween-themed drinks including one where the float three layers to look like candy corn! I'm still going to be Rachel from Glee, and I'm so excited! I have no idea if any of my friends have fun costumes, I haven't asked them.

They have a candy corn shot, too.  I only did one, once (otherwise I risked a sugar coma) but it was delicious! Also, I love beagles, I want that to be our next dog.And lastly, I would TOTALLY dress up with you, as long as I could be Space(wo)man!  "I should've known you weren't a KISS fan when you wanted to dress up as Peter Criss! No one wants to be Peter Criss, Lois, not even Peter Criss!"

OH! My other option is going as the runaway bride! We were in the grocery store after my hair and makeup trial with my veil on buying flowers and then we went to eat at chili's and FSMIL and my aunt were like you look like the runaway bride lmao!So if I want to go comfy that is my other option hehe!

My basset is the turtle.in other news, the Denton Animal Shelter has the two sweetest beagles EVER right now that are going to be available today after 1pm. I stopped in on Saturday to pet animals, and fell in love with the beagles. Anyone interested? Here's the link. http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=14919717

Oh my goodness, those dogs are ADORABLE.  I want them now!  I would feel terrible breaking them up though, and there's no way I could talk FI into both.  :(  GAH, now I really, really want them!

Our friends got married last Halloween, so we're going to their halloween/anniversary party. I'm so excited about it! I was gonna go as Juno, and have Stephen go as Paulie Bleeker, but we dont even have the funds to do that! I might just go as myself lol. I was also thinking stephen and I could switch roles, i.e: he goes as me, and I go as him. But I cant talk him into putting make up on! lol.

No clue on a costume yet but we're going to our friends annual Halloween party, so I'm really looking forward to that Saturday night... just hope I get rid of this stuffy nose by then.

I'm going to be in San Antonio with FI's family, including his 2 nieces, ages 2 and 1. I am so excited to go trick or treating with them! No idea if we're going to dress up or not- Angel/Devil has been tossed around, or I might pull out an old costume from previous years- maybe have FI goes as a soldier (ie- himself)!

we are participating in the Trunk or Treat at church... helping run the cake walk... and then taking the kids trick or treating in my parents neighborhood... maybe we will sneak away for a little date night if my parents will watch the kids :)

One of our friends is throwing a party the night of, so we are going there. My FI is going as one of the Jabbawockeez and I am dressing up as a dancer also. I think we spent 8 dollars on our costumes. Just wearing a lot of our own stuff.

Bill will be Dr. Rankenstein and I will be the Bride of Rankenstein.  The girls are going to have Frankenstein hats on.
