Just curious, isn't a Reverend and a Pastor different? Depending on the religion is it incorrect to say Reverend?

It might be. I also wonder if Pastor is an official title in that case. I don't know anyone who has an actual degree which confers the title "Pastor" on them, the way they would Reverend or Reverend Doctor or Father. I'd also look into that.
I admit, I'm not entirely sure as far as that goes. I know in Catholicism the titles are different (Priest, Bishop, etc) and in other religions. But in all the Protestant churches I've been in, the bulletin always says something like, "Pastor: Rev. Firstname Lastname." So I think pastor is the role, but Reverend is the title.
Re: another invitation question
So maybe The Reverends Doe? or The Pastors Doe? That seems weird though...

Thanks, this looks much better than my way.
