Wedding Favors...2 Questions

1- Have you ever heard of Wedding Favors Unlimited?2- Do you do 1 per person or 1 per couple? My mom says in her experience its been 1 per couple.Any help would be most appreciated

We did one per person. But we filled a celophane bag with nostalgic candy. We had 10 people not show and only went home with 4 favors.

1 I haven't heard of them. 2 Depends on the favor. Bottle of wine 1 per couple. candy, carmel apple, etc one per person. Something with your name on it--don't give this crap out.

1. Nope, sorry. 2. Depends on the favor. We did personalized candy and had one favor per person. If it had been something like a bottle of champagne, one per couple would work.

1 no. 2 If the favor is candy, I'd do one per person b/c I like candy, esp. chocolate, and I'd want my own. If it's a thing, you may be able to do one per couple.

Never heard of it.We had both. I had homemade buttermints at every place setting. And I had customized Yankee Candle votives between the place setting. So those were 1 per couple. I also had matches for everyone, but I don't think those count as favors...Hope this helps!

We are doing a favor special for us...we live in the DC area but getting married in NY. The favor will be a candle shaped like a wedding cake with a cherry blossom tree on it. Maybe this helps on the per person or per couple debate?

P.S. If it was something like a candle, or a baby bamboo plant, I wouldn't mind sharing with DH, but I do not want to share my candy!

Are you really set on that favor? The thing is if I got that I would most likely either leave it there or throw it out after a week. If you are REALLY into the favor though 1 per couple would be fine.

So... I per couple is good... because very few guys will be disappointed that they don't have a wedding cake shaped candle with pink flowers on it.

But don't forget the singles! Not everyone comes in couple form. And weddings are not the funnest time to be reminded of that.

1- No 2- I've never gotten a 1 per couple favor-- I've only ever gotten individual favors. But on my local board it seems like couple favors are not uncommon. I think it depends on what you give. I can see why things like full bottles of wine would be one per couple, but it seems weird that couples only get half a bottle per person while singles get a full bottle to themselves. And distributing the favors equitably can be tricky because people may not figure out the 1 per couple rule.
