I also posted this on the December 2009 board, but wanted to share it here on the Indiana board as well. I have been using weddingmapper.com and I absolutely love it. So, I just wanted to share my experience with all of you, in case you're looking for a web-site to create a wedding map, guest list, seating chart, or thank you's. The wedding map is really easy to set up. Plus, you can add icons for where your reception and ceremony are, other areas of interest, hotel info, etc. It's just super-easy to use. I also use their guest list/rsvp section. I had my guest list created in Microsoft Excel, to begin with. Then, in wedding mapper, all I had to do was paste in the cells I needed to create my guest list. As we get our RSVP's back, all I do is go in, find their name, and select yes or no for wether or not they are attending. From that point, I click on the 'seating chart' tab at the top. It automatically has all of the 'yes's' ready to be placed at a table. All you do is drag their image over to a seat and it drops it in, and will prompt you if you want to have the rest of the party seated at that table as well and will drop all of the corresponding guests in as well. The seating chart is really easy to set up as you just drag and drop in the tables you want and it prompts you for how many seats will be at that table. Also, you can export your yes's for your rsvp's and their corresponding table number and seat number that you placed them at in to Excel... That will be so easy to help make a huge seating chart for the reception, instead of doing escort cards. There is also a tab to keep track of gifts you receive, and thank you's. I just love this site and wanted to share it with everyone, in case you're looking for a site to use... The site does a lot more than what I have listed here. But, these are the features I find extremely helpful and use.
