Complete Music & Video for DJ?

Has anyone used them? Unfortunately I won't have a chance to hear or see another DJ at another event before my wedding, so I'm doing this blindly. They've given me a great rate and I have a friend who will be using them, but I don't want to go with them just for a great rate.

I used them.  They're great at communication til they have your money.  Then your DJ may turn out to be a real jerk.  See my vendor reviews in my bio.

Eek! So I'd assume you'd say don't go with them?I'd like to keep it under $1000, so I'm a little tied...not sure now where to go because I feel weird picking a DJ as I won't be able to see or hear other DJs in Dallas at other events. This seems the weirdest vendor to pick because of that, but I know they can probably make or break this for me. Ahhh!Oh UNT - you know a friend of mine from HS!! She was your maid of honor!! How fun! I heart her!!

I think Melodies and Memories might be in your budget, and I know that Michael Blake from KISS FM had quoted me $900 when I was wedding planning.  With $1000 you can get much better than complete music.

Melody is under $1000.  Sometimes she'll have specials on weddingwire.

My sister and I both used complete music and had good experiences with them. I used Christian and didn't have any problems with him or communication. It probably just depends on the DJ. I booked him for my ceremony and reception for $700.
