New

Hi everyone! I am new to the board. I just got engaged a few weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone can suggest places for around 120 including tax and gratuity. Looking for July or September 2011. Thanks!

I'm getting married at the Atrium Country Club in West Orange.  Their price is just above that...but you may be able to negotiate...

Try the Tides in North Haledon, The Manor in West Orange and the Brownstone in Paterson. All are around that price for a Friday night.

The Atrium will be under that then for a Friday I would imagine.  It's $100pp before tax and tip for a saturday. Minimum 200 for the upstairs room on a saturday. May be different for a Friday night...and they are willing to move on the minimum. I got them down to 180 for a saturday night.

I forgot about about the Atrium. I was there years ago for a tricky tray and the food was really good. I will call them tomorrow. I called the brownstone and they told me that they dont have their prices for 2011 . I thought that was strange since i would be booking in 2009 why would i have to wait until they get their 2011 prices.

Mayfair Farms in West Orange is under that as well. I am getting married at the Knoll CC in Parsippany. Not sure what their 2009 prices are, but I think they would be under $120. They have two different clubhouses, where there is one wedding at a time and they have different minimums. I had a minimum of 150 on a Friday for the East (smaller side). Oh, and welcome.

I'm getting married at the Graycliff in Moonachie and it could be around that price or slightly more for that time and day.

All the above mentioned. Ravellos is 100pp including tax and tip for a Friday. Also The Manor is around the same, maybe the Highlawn Pavillion.

Bridgewater Manor is well below that, including only 8% gratuity (as opposed to 18+% other places), and their food is fantastic. The Imperial Room would fit a party of that size.
