Moved wedding date!

We decided to move the wedding date to September 18, 2010. For a few different reasons. My wedding dress will go with the whole fall theme and I wont have to stress over the whole dark gothy feel and trying to achieve it. We are going with a more New England fall type theme wedding. So, Im asking you wonderful ladies, what colors would you recommend for my bridesmaids?

    Brown! :)   Check out my bio. My BMs loved their dresses. We tried Cranberry, but it is tough to get exact color matches unless your BMs all wear the same dress.

    Agreed on brown.  It needs to be a rich chocolate brown though, not anything lighter.  A caramel/gold/beige color could be very pretty too, but could look weird on certain complexions.

    With your red dress, I would do pewter or gray. The color is really in right now, it looks good on everyone and is a great neutral (hint: BMs can wear it again). Your red dress is a fairly dark color with some cooler reds, so I am not sure brown would be good for it.

    Personally, I don't like brown with your shade of red. I like a champagne/beige color, or black too. Grey would be really different as well. Congrats on finding a better date for you!

    Oh fine, no brown. :P   I do love the idea of pewter. And of course LOVE all of the pics that LaFemme posted. I LOVE when everyone wears different colors - if it is done well.

    I definitely agree with Nunu and the rest of the girls that the pewter would be lovely against that red dress! Molly - you mean like this, right?
